Homemade Donuts

Ingredients
:

  • 140 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour
  • 240 ml (1 cup) water
  • 3 eggs
  • 75 g (1/2 cup) butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

In a medium saucepan, combine water and butter. Heat over medium heat until the butter melts.

Add salt and flour, and stir with a spoon until the mixture forms a dough.

Add vanilla extract to the dough. Crack in the 3 eggs, one at a time, while mixing with a hand mixer until fully incorporated.

Transfer the dough to a piping bag and pipe out 12 circles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Heat oil in a pan and fry each donut for 3-4 minutes, turning until golden brown on both sides.

Remove from oil, let them drain on paper towels, and enjoy!
